At Inspired Kids Academy, we believe that success comes from providing developmentally appropriate experiences in a safe and nurturing environment. We believe that children construct their knowledge and values by interacting with peers, parents and other adults through exploration of their environment. Approaches to Learning Our play-based child centered program reflects the integration of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, self-help and aesthetic areas for the total development of the child. Learning centers provide opportunities for hands-on reinforcement of concepts and skills that have been introduced in a whole-group setting. Because young children learn best through active exploration learning centers make up the biggest portion of our daily schedule. Learning centers are not just free play. They are planned and organized to give support to themes, skill and concepts. Learning Centers Allow Children to:
